In mid-September, the Contractor who won the national tender within the SNPA project, began work on creating new websites, videos and photobases for the project’s target protected areas (PA). On October 1-2, in Lviv, the Contractor’s team conducted a communication training for PAs’ employees, who are responsible for the website and social networks of institutions.
The main emphasis in the training was given to work in social networks: Facebook algorithms, selection of topics for posts, writing texts and preparation of visual materials in the Canva program.
Also, the participants were presented with a developed template for future websites. The main task of the websites is to provide parks’ stakeholders with convenient access to the necessary information.
Travellers will be able to choose the most interesting places to visit and activities in parks using filters. After that, they can plan a route on an interactive map. Local residents will be able to quickly get acquainted with important news of the park and get a road map on how to join the development of green tourism in the area.
Moreover, there will be a section for scientists with the most important information about the scientific value of the territory, scientist articles, recent researches etc. Young researchers will be able to get acquainted with the fauna and flora.
Also, the website will contain information on how anyone can join the development of the territory – sections for business, volunteers, international organizations and patrons.
The Contractor’s team discussed the comments received from the representatives of the target areas regarding the website template and promotional videos.
After the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources of Ukraine approves the website template and promotional video scenario, the Contractor will begin developing the websites and shooting videos of the territories.
