On March 19, the tender committee meeting for the purchase of uniforms for target protected areas rangers took place in Lviv. Through the tender 658 sets of uniforms will be purchased: winter and summer clothes, shoes, backpacks, hats, and more. Three companies applied for the tender.
A comfortable and weather-resistant uniform is important for the implementation of nature protection measures by park rangers. It is also important to visually distinguish the rangers from other people.
The tender committee included several directors of the project’s target institutions, representatives of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources of Ukraine, and the SNPA project experts. An external tailoring expert was also invited. The evaluation process was observed by representatives of target institutions and companies that applied for the tender.
During the meeting, the technical part of the tender participants was evaluated: the quality of materials and tailoring, design, and comfort. The final stage is the comparison of financial proposals.
The evaluation was performed in accordance with the norms of the KfW scoring system of procedures. The representative from Transparency International – Ukraine conducted independent supervision of compliance of tender procedures.
