Synevyr National Nature Park received a pilot ATV with caterpillars. Such transport can be used all year round, even in snow or swamp conditions.

After testing the ATV in Synevyr NNP and a previously purchased snowmobile for Carpathian Biosphere Reserve, a feasibility assessment of each vehicle for the target areas will be conducted.

Special transport in protected areas is necessary for the implementation of nature protection measures in remote and hardly accessible places, especially in conditions of snow or swamp.
