Yavorivskyi National Natural Park is located on the territory of Yavorivskyi District, Ivano-Frankivsk and Lozynsk local councils. The total area of ​​the park is 7108 hectares. The forest massifs are at a considerable distance from the administrative building. The topography of the park and the surrounding areas is distinguished by its considerable width, vastness and the presence of large plateau-like uplands, limited by low but rather steep slopes. It is not always possible to reach remote forest areas located on hills.

The institution annually conducts environmental protection measures, in particular, fire prevention measures (care for mineralized strips) and for their implementation a tractor is needed.

In addition, the Yavorivskyi National Nature Park operates a Center for Breeding the Offspring of Tarpan horses, and a tractor is also needed for harvesting fodder (hay, straw).

The existing tractor in the park is 90% worn out and unable to perform such a volume of work. As a result, the institution is forced to hire equipment from third-party organizations, which is quite expensive.

Therefore, in order to perform the above-mentioned works, respond in a timely manner, and prevent the occurrence of forest fires, there was a need to purchase a tractor. A tractor was purchased and transferred to the Yavorivskyi National Nature Park as part of the “Support to Nature Protected Areas in Ukraine” project.
